What it does

Cash App payments, with the total already filled in.

Customers tap a button or scan a QR code and land in Cash App with the right amount. You get the order number on the payment, so matching it to an order is quick.

Amount filled in for them

The pay button and QR code open Cash App with your $cashtag and the exact order total.

One-click order note

Customers copy a note like “Order #3896 - Your Store” so each payment points to its order.

On Hold or Processing

Keep orders On Hold until you see the payment, or process them automatically.

Optional auto-confirmation

Forward Cash App payment emails to a parser and matching orders update themselves. Mismatched amounts are flagged.

What your customers see

From checkout to paid in a couple of taps.

The pay button opens Cash App with your $cashtag and the order total already entered. Customers just confirm and send.

Instructions in their inbox

The order email includes the amount, where to send it and the note, so customers can pay later from their phone.

Optional automation

Let paid orders confirm themselves.

Checking Cash App for every order gets old fast. Turn on the built-in webhook and payments can update their orders automatically. Setup is optional, and the plugin walks you through it.

  1. 01

    Cash App emails you

Your Cash App payment notification is forwarded to an email parser such as Zapier's Email Parser.

  2. 02

Order number and amount are read

The parser pulls the order number and amount from the email and sends them to your store’s secure webhook.

  3. 03

    The plugin checks the amount

If the amount matches the order total, the order moves to the status you choose: Processing, Completed or On Hold.

  4. 04

    Anything off gets flagged

Overpayments and underpayments stay On Hold with a note. Every payment is logged on the Payment Receipts screen.

Secured with a secret key you can regenerate at any time. Duplicate notifications are ignored.

Questions

Good to know.

Something else on your mind?

Just ask me Read the setup guide
Does this use the Cash App API?

No. The pay button and QR code open Cash App with your $cashtag and the order total, and the customer sends the payment to you directly. No API keys or developer account are needed.

Is the order number added to the payment?

Cash App links can pre-fill the amount but not the note, so the thank-you page shows the order note with a one-click Copy button for the customer to paste in.

How do orders get marked as paid?

With manual processing, which is recommended, orders stay On Hold until you confirm the payment. You can also turn on the webhook so Cash App payment emails, read by an email parser such as Zapier’s, confirm matching orders automatically.

What if a customer sends the wrong amount?

When the webhook is on, the plugin compares the payment with the order total. Over- and underpayments keep the order On Hold with a note explaining the difference, and every payment is logged on the Payment Receipts screen.

Can I show the instructions somewhere else?

Yes. They are added to order emails and the customer’s order page, and you can place [cashapp_payment_instructions] on any page.
